You decide which care work to take on and what pay to ask for

Looking for work as a caregiver is not simply about finding a family that needs help. It is just as important to choose work that fits your experience, language skills, circumstances and preferences.

That is why Vimora Care does not want to decide for you which work to take on, which country to work in or what pay to ask for. You set your own terms for the work you are willing to do.

Your detailed profile is about you

Your caregiver profile on Vimora Care lets you describe your experience and the work you are looking for in detail. You can include the languages you speak and your level in each, your professional experience, qualifications, availability and the care tasks you are willing to undertake.

You can also say whether you are looking for visiting or live-in care work, when you are available and the conditions under which you would like to work. The reason is simple: the more clearly you describe yourself, the easier it may be for a family seeking someone with your experience and preferences to find you.

You state your own expected pay too

Pay is naturally one of the most important questions when looking for work. On Vimora Care, the platform does not decide how much you should work for. You can state your own expected pay.

This information also matters to families. When looking for a caregiver, they can take your pay expectations into account. Families can therefore narrow their search by expected pay from the outset. This can save time for both sides.

If a family’s budget and your expected pay differ considerably, it is useful to know that before making contact. If your expectations align, however, there is already a basis for further conversation.

If the terms suit you both, you can agree directly

Imagine a simple situation. A family is looking for a live-in caregiver for an older relative. They describe the tasks needed, the language skills they expect, when they need help and their available budget.

As a caregiver, you have stated in your own profile the work you are willing to do, the languages you speak, your experience and your expected pay. If both sides’ needs align, the family and caregiver can discuss the details directly. The final decision belongs to both of you.

You may keep more of what you earn

This can matter financially too. Vimora Care is a platform provider, not a recruitment agency. Vimora Care does not set your pay or deduct an agency commission from your earnings.

So if you state a level of pay that suits you, a family accepts it and you reach an agreement, there is no agency commission that Vimora Care deducts from your pay.

Put simply: you state your expected pay, the family decides whether it fits their budget and, if the terms suit you both, you can agree directly. That way, you may keep more of what you earn through your own work.

Pay is not the only thing that matters

The right job is not just about pay. Perhaps you speak German well and would like to work in Germany or Austria. Perhaps you have years of experience caring for older people with dementia. Perhaps you only take on live-in work. Or perhaps you want to find a family in your own country that needs your experience.

A detailed profile lets you show families all of this. You do not need to be the right fit for everyone. What matters more is being found by a family that needs a caregiver like you.

International opportunities for caregivers

Vimora Care is an international platform. It allows caregivers to look for suitable opportunities in their own country or elsewhere in Europe, provided they meet the necessary requirements for working there.

Families can search the caregiver community using detailed criteria. Language skills. Experience. Qualifications. Tasks offered. Availability. Working arrangement. Expected pay. The more accurate your profile is, the more a family can learn about you before making contact.

Your work. Your experience. Your terms.

The idea behind Vimora Care is simple:

  • You decide which work to take on.
  • You describe your language skills and experience.
  • You state your own expected pay.

The family can then decide whether the terms you have listed fit their needs and budget. If they do, you can discuss the remaining details directly.

No agency commission is deducted from your pay by Vimora Care. You may keep more of what you earn through your work.
